Global Session List

Because each tab in Insomniac Browser has a different session, it can be a little frustrating to use sites you commonly use like Slack or other chat applications. Therefore we have provided the ability to turn off multi-session browsing for any specific site you choose.

For example, if you like to be logged into Slack in every tab, it doesn’t work out of the box because of the isolated cookie jars. You could log in in tab 1, but then if you log in in tab 2, you’ll need to log in again.

So, for sites like this, use Global Session List as follows

  1. Click Menu –> Global Session List.
  2. Add the domain string that you want to set for Global Session mode.
  3. Now you will be able to stay logged in in every tab for those domains you have added.

Note that if you put ‘yahoo’ in the setting, it uses wildcards before and after. So it will apply to yahoo.com and yahoo.co.uk, for example. However if you explicitly put yahoo.com, it will only apply to that specific yahoo.com site.
