Can I upgrade a monthly subscription at my grandfathered rate?
No, as per our escalating pricing rules, all upgrades are available at the current rate only, which is why we suggest you upgrade early and often.
You may wonder why – it’s because those products generally no longer available. Any time we had a major price increase and before we released Ultimate (and deprecated the ‘basic’ version of the browser) we provided several last chance opportunities to upgrade at your grandfathered rate. Users who chose to do so have been paying in on those terms ever since.
Upgrading to annual is always going to be cheaper the sooner you do it. If you would like to upgrade now, please click the upgrade button under the Subscriptions tab in your account page. If you do not see one, please email us for help with your upgrade.
